Vespoli has proudly called Connecticut home since 1980. Frustrated by the limitations of imported boats, Olympic rower and coach Mike Vespoli brought production to the U.S., pioneering the use of carbon fiber in American-made racing shells.
From the start, Vespoli has stood for craftsmanship, innovation, and performance—values carried forward by a team of engineers, boat builders, and rowers who live and breathe the sport.
At the end of 2016, Mike Vespoli stepped away from the company, leaving behind more than a legacy — he left ownership in the hands of the people who build the boats. Today, Vespoli is proudly 100% employee-owned, giving every team member a personal stake in our mission: to build the world’s best racing shells and deliver unmatched service to the rowing community.
Vespoli’s knowledgeable sales representatives cover five regions in the U.S. and five international regions. We attend hundreds of rowing events annually, offering our customers on-site service and repair when they need it most. Our sales team also prides itself on visiting our local boathouses to provide current and potential customers door-to-door service, tips, and techniques tailored to their success.
